Colombia was severely hit by Corona. At the beginning of the pandemic, the Colombian government ordered a complete lockdown. All air traffic was suspended for almost half a year, a general curfew was issued, and the economy was shut down. Despite the very drastic measures, it was not possible to avoid the spread of Corona and, ultimately, an overloading of the national health system. With the vaccination of the population, the number of infections and, in particular, the utilization of ICUs decreased. On June 30, 2022, the medical emergency ended. Normality has returned to everyday life.
